This year's summer heatwave continues...

We had a number of fans brought to us for repair.  Are you surprised?  We weren't.

Neither was it much of a surprise when we were asked to find out why a portable (on wheels, that is) air conditioner was dripping water on the floor.  We think we found the part that wasn't quite sealing properly and it didn't drip when tested.

Naturally we had the usual fare of radios, record players, vacuum cleaners, bikes, sewing and more.

We love fixing things, that's why we do it.  But please, don't arrive with an item a few minutes before we end at 2pm.  You'll be disappointed when we say you'll have to come back next month.  Some items are a quick fix of perhaps 30 minutes but many take a deal longer.  Please bear that in mind.
