Our first Repair Café event at Vigo - 14 Sept 2024
Our first Vigo Repair Café was a resounding success.
We were kept busy all through by visitors with their various items needing attention.
Those items included a child's bike, several radios and music players, garden equipment, clothing, fabrics, and more besides.
Happily we were joined on this occasion by Richard from the Malling Repair Café and he was very busy dealing with electronic items. Thank you Richard, we would have been understaffed without you.
On that note we very much need additional volunteer repairers for the Vigo events. If you have the time (one Saturday a month) and are happy to show off your ability repairing household items we'd like you to join in. Most of our volunteers have attended an event just to see what goes on and then decided they'd like to join in as a repairer. Don't worry about professional skills, most of us are self-taught by past experience.
